Science Experience 2010

Each year Siemens sponsor school students to attend Science labs at local Universities. This year Pat our Vocation Director in conjunction with two local schools located 8 students who were excited at the prospect of 'attending' science classes at a local University.


On Wednesday 5th May, four students from Star of the Sea attended the meeting to tell members about the Siemens Science Experience.

The Club sponsored eight students to this event which was held in January.  It is run in conjunction with local universities and is designed, over a three day period, to expose students who are about to enter Year 10, to the "mysteries of science".

The objective is to help the students to decide if they want to pursue a scientific career.

The Club sponsored five students from Star of the Sea and three students from Brighton Secondary College.
