Wendy Warren - Police Leadership Mentoring Program
Wendy and Rob Warren visited the Club on our Grand Final Dinner and updated us on the functions she looks after at Victoria Police. Wendy is one of 20 senior sworn and un-sworn police officers selected by the Police Commissioner to participate in the Police Leadership Mentoring Program. It is a special achievment to be selected and we will hear from Wendy later in the year about her experience with the program.
The aim of the Leadership Mentoring Program
is to provide police leaders with a development opportunity to gain a
better understanding of different organisational cultures as well as the
challenges, rolls and skills of senior Victorian business leaders; and
form stronger links with the Victorian Community and Rotary

- manage the corporate payroll and human resource management information system for Victoria Police 14,800 staff including international deployment assignments
- consultation and provision of accurate and authoritative advice on all payroll and personnel matters to managers across the organisation including internal/external auditors
- directly manage 3 team leaders with a total of 20 staff
- chair Victoria Police HR Managers meetings lead the implementation of the Police Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2007 and administered the changes to the payroll system
