St. Leonard's Playground

Students enjoy the new playground at St Leonard's College that was dedicated to the Memory of Susie Harris


The new Playground is very popular with the children at St.Leonards



Susie probably taught some 2000 similar children over her 30-year career at St. Leonards which was sadly cut short by Motor Neurone Disease

The children that Susie taught came mainly from the Bayside area but also from the surrounding suburbs and consequently she became well known to many parents as a dedicated and transformational teacher

Our Major Fundraiser event this year will be the Dinner/Dance/Auction night on 14May2010 - a major portion of the funds will be presented to the Susie Harris Memorial Fund to support research into and equipment for Motor Neurone Disease
