Each week our esteemed scribes give a report on the last meeting. They always make for interesting reading and this week is no exception.
A flippant evening, the Chairman besuited and the President untied.

Some years ago the scribe stood behind Chris Warner at Kyhats, when he bought a bottle of wine "how many glasses?'"said the barkeep "one" said Chris. When I arrived tonight, I bought a glass of red for Chris, when I approached him I noticed he already had two FULL glasses on the table. I drank mine!

The Chairman grovelled to the sergeants, but it didn't work.

There is a lot on over the next few weeks, City to Sea, Golf, Garden Design, Variety Club, Melbourne Cup night and those who are volunteering for Variety, email Brian Lanyon your Working with Children number.  bclanyon@bigpond.net.au

Kate Strain's fact of the week is essentially that she (and Doug) will be on the streets at the end of November, does RCBN really want this of one of their members?

As the only director to give a written report to the scribe, YOUTH, reported that the Duke of Edinburgh spoke well, although with an antipodean accent, RYPEN number 1 is happening this weekend, per favour Gerry Lambourne, RYLA Peter H,is well underweigh for December and Variety Club is jumping with Brian Lanyon.

Must say that the guest speaker reinforced my belief that "where there's a will there's a way"

Up spirits.
