Film Screening: THE PLASTIC COUNTRY
Plastic: what does it mean for our bodies (not just the environment)?
Join us for a free community screening of the Australian documentary The Plastic Country (rated G), hosted by the LEAF Group and proudly supported by North Brighton Rotary.
The film follows Australian filmmaker Kal Glanznig as he grows increasingly concerned by emerging research into the human health impacts of plastic. On realising that Australia is now one of the world's largest producers of plastic waste per person, Kal sets out to question what this means — not just for our environment, but for our own bodies.
Friends and neighbours are warmly welcome, so feel free to spread the word!
