A Packed Event

The Ross Rice we all remember, did not disappoint us with a graceful toast or was it a toastful grace?  Loyalty is the key.

Sergeant's session was conducted with usury vigour by "Trouble" Lanyon.

Reminded that we need to keep our "Working with Children" cards, current.

Factansy of the week, had us all at sea. But if you want to sea more, try "Mercy Ships" and "Rotary Foundation, Mercy Ships". This is Foundation at its best.

Virginia, bless her, has a Goddaughter about to join "Africa Mercy" as a dietician. It's a small world with vast differences in the way we live.

Professor Wood spoke with erudite passion about ethics, using the Four Way Test as his theme. As an acquaintance of mine used to say, "if you don't lie, you don't need a good memory". Further, as Henry The Navigator said "Do unto others as you would want others to do to you".

It seems incongruous to me that the Youth Committee, with an average age of 69.3 seems so vigorous. It is encouraging anyone in the club to dine with the RYLA team, at Oasis Camp, Mount Evelyn 1830 for 1900, Thursday December 6th 2012. $30 per person, to be invigorated by the strength of our youth. PLEASE, if you are considering it, email woodrsvp@bigpond.net.au or telephone 95961141 and ask for Mr. Wood. He'll guide you through the steps required. It's a stimulating evening. Australia's future is in good hands.

On a more mundane topic, wasn't the pudding different?
