Our Changeover evening was a wonderful balance of the necessary pomp and ceremony and the usual social fun we all expect from RCBN events. Phil Mortimer took a range of photos some of which are featured below.

Visitors included the District Governor Elect, Ross Butterworth and his wife, Annette, AG Peter Frueh and his wife and several presidents elect from our cluster clubs: Pat Kearns, Grant Wishnowski and Faye Kirkwood.

There was a very popular presentation to a new Paul Harris Fellow (see other story). Our secretary, Lyn Mortimer and treasurer, Barbara Gordon were given the customary acknowledgement and President Jim singled out Barb Beed for special mention for her work as attendance officer, duties roster person and even a fill-in for our secretary at a Board meeting.

The year's achievements were outlined by President Jim along with his thanks to Club members for their efforts over this year. Petra was presented with a flag in recognition of her imminent Australian status.

There was much chatter and hilarity throughout the evening with a brief but important induction by Jim, of Russell as our new president followed by a short address by Russell who explained his thoughts as incoming president, actions Rotary and our Club need to take to remain viable and in good health, before introducing his Board for 2013-14.
